Once home to an Arabian horse farm, the design of Bridlewood Winery pays homage to California’s historic missions with a Spanish-style bell tower, breezy verandas and a fountain surrounded by a stone courtyard. However, these days it’s all about the wine.

Bridlewood’s range of critically acclaimed Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet
Sauvignon, and blended wines speak to the passion of the winemakers.
“We spend a lot of time in the vineyards up and down the Central Coast, talking with growers and searching for grapes that will give us a diverse “spice box” of flavors. Back in the winery, we blend small batches of different vineyard lots together to bring out their best flavor characteristics.”
Each glass tells the rich story of Central Coast wines: the adventurous spirit, the relaxed lifestyle, the fresh local foods, and the incredible vineyards and vistas.
Bridlewood is now owned by the famed Gallo family as one of their two Central Coast wine ventures; the other is Edna Valley Vineyard.
Bridlewood Tasting Room
With a rustic, spanish-style architecture in the style of California’s missions, Bridlewood was featured last year on the CBS show, The Amazing Race.
Bridlewood’s tasting room offers an intimate experience with plenty of room to relax or enjoy your glass of wine by the fountain in our sunny courtyard. A tour of the estate is offered on weekends in a horse-drawn carriage. Tasting room is located at 3555 Roblar Avenue, Santa Ynez, and is open daily from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm; reservations are required for parties over six.
Bridlewood Private Tours
Go beyond the tasting room counter and learn how Bridlewood winemakers craft their artisan wines. Tour Bridlewood grounds, lake and vineyard, then head inside to the barrel room where you can taste wine straight from the barrel. Learn about Central Coast winemaking and enjoy a wine and food pairing with local cuisine. Please reserve your tour in advance by calling the tasting room directly.
